Site Dedication & Declaration Statement – srcole.com
There are many things a website can be.
It can be a place to gather thoughts.
A place to make something beautiful.
A place to share truth, wisdom, insight, encouragement, creativity, or work.
But before this site is any of those things, it belongs to the Lord.
srcole.com is hereby and forever placed under the authority of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit of the Most High God. It is dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ and submitted to the rule and jurisdiction of the Kingdom of Heaven.
This is no longer just a personal project of Stacie R. Cole. It is something I desire to place before God with open hands.
Because Scripture says, “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof” (Psalm 24:1).
And Jesus said, “All authority is given unto me in heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18).
So this site, too, is under His authority.
Its words are under His authority.
Its purpose is under His authority.
Its direction is under His authority.
Its fruit is under His authority.
Its future is under His authority.
Whatever is built here, may it be built by His permission, guided by His wisdom, corrected by His hand, and used for His glory.
As Psalm 127:1 says, “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.”
That is the posture of this site.
Not self-ownership, but stewardship.
Not self-glory, but service.
Not independence, but submission.
Not the spirit of the age, but the will of God.
I want this site to remain under Christ’s headship in all things. I want what is written here, shared here, created here, and cultivated here to be subject to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is above every name and to whom all things ultimately answer.
Scripture says of Him that “in all things he might have the preeminence” (Colossians 1:18).
That is my desire for this site also: that in all things, Christ would have the preeminence.
Under the Kingdom of Heaven
This site is submitted to the Kingdom of Heaven above every earthly current, pressure, and claim.
It is my prayer that what is true here would be strengthened.
That what is not pleasing to God would be corrected.
That what is unclean would be removed.
That what is confused would be brought into order.
That what is weak would be strengthened by grace.
And that what remains would be useful only in the ways the Lord permits.
Jesus taught us to pray, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
That is the prayer over this space.
Lord, let Your will be done here.
Dedicated to the Lord
To dedicate something to the Lord is not merely to say holy words over it. It is to set it apart for Him. It is to acknowledge that it belongs to Him. It is to place it before Him and say:
Use this as You please.
Correct this where needed.
Guard this from evil.
Do not let it become something outside Your will.
Let it serve You first.
This site is dedicated to the Lord in that spirit.
“Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established” (Proverbs 16:3).
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus” (Colossians 3:17).
“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).
That is the desire here.
That this site would not merely exist.
That it would exist rightly.
That it would be used cleanly.
That it would serve faithfully.
And that in whatever small or great way the Lord allows, it would ultimately serve Him.
No Weapon Formed Against It Shall Prosper
This site is also placed under the Lord’s protection.
Not because human effort is enough.
Not because any work of man is unshakable.
But because God is a refuge to those who call on Him, and because what is placed before Him is safest in His hands.
Scripture says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17).
So I place this site before the Lord against every work of darkness, corruption, sabotage, distortion, false accusation, spiritual hostility, and scheme formed against it.
May the Lord Himself rebuke what rises against it.
May He expose what is false.
May He restrain what is evil.
May He protect what belongs to Him.
May He preserve what He wants preserved, and remove what He does not.
“The Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil” (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
“The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe” (Proverbs 18:10).
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1).
This site rests best there: under His covering.
What It Means to Dedicate Something to the Lord
To dedicate something to the Lord means:
1. To acknowledge His ownership
Everything belongs to God first. Dedication begins there.
2. To surrender its purpose
Instead of asking only what I want something to become, I ask what God would permit it to be.
3. To place it under His authority
True dedication means Christ is not an ornament added on top. He is Lord over it.
4. To pray over it
What is dedicated to God should be covered in prayer, not merely announced in words.
5. To align it with Scripture
Something cannot be sincerely dedicated to the Lord while being used in ways that resist His truth.
6. To welcome correction
Dedication includes humility. It means asking God not only to bless, but to purify and correct.
7. To use it for His glory
Whatever is dedicated to the Lord should finally point back to Him, not merely to self.
A Prayer Over This Site
Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ, I place srcole.com before You and dedicate it to You.
I acknowledge that You are God, that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that all authority in heaven and earth belongs to Him. I ask that this site be fully under Your rule, Your protection, Your correction, and Your mercy.
Let everything about this site be subject to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Let its purpose be governed by You.
Let its words be governed by You.
Let its work be governed by You.
Let its fruit be governed by You.
Let its future be governed by You.
Build what You want built here.
Shut down what should not stand.
Bless what pleases You.
Correct what does not.
Cleanse what needs cleansing.
Guard it from corruption, sabotage, and every evil work.
Your Word says that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper. I ask for Your covering over this site according to Your will. Let no work formed against it prosper beyond what You permit, and let everything contrary to Your purposes be broken, exposed, restrained, or removed.
May this site serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
May it reflect what is true, lovely, clean, honorable, and right.
May it never drift beyond Your hand.
And may Christ have the preeminence in all things.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
